Android was designed by GEEKS for geeks.

iPhone was designed by geeks for USERS.

Blackberry was designed by geeks for IT Administrators.

It is of course a great oversimplification of the situation, but as a recovering architect I know that any "design" is greatly influenced by how you define the problem. I read an article today that affirms these conclusions. Former Apple engineer Bob Borchers recently lectured at a school in California and commented on how the iPhone project directive was delivered.
However, if you watch tech news much, you know there has been much furor surrounding this announcement. Personally, I am not suprised by what Google and Facebook do as their business is based on finding out about you, and then serving you with filtered content based on what you have shared with them. The issues arise when they are collecting data you did not intend to "share".

travel case for Apple wireless keyboard...

I know many of us have struggled with the dilemma of wanting the portability of the iPad vs the need to (on occasion) have a real keyboard for extended work sessions.

Day One Journal...

Just a quick note about an app Apple has featured and I have just purchased.
